Have you ever wanted to have a cookbook of your favorite recipes? Just the ones you love and use the most?
Simply Recipes started as a way for me to keep track of the recipes I grew up with, and to share them with my friends and extended family. My intention all along was to print out my favorite recipes, assemble them into a binder, and give them to my sister and brothers for Christmas. Well, that never happened; the web has a way of diverting one’s attention. But it may this year because the recipes of Simply Recipes are now available on TasteBook, essentially a build-it-yourself, customizable cookbook, in which you choose just the recipes you want.
The Simply Recipes Classics TasteBook is a hard-bound binder with 90 pre-selected recipes from Simply Recipes and a credit for 10 more recipes of your choosing. You can remove any of the recipes you don’t want, and add more that you do. You can even add your own recipes and photos to your TasteBook. If you have a favorite recipe from this site that you don’t see in Simply Recipes Classics, you can likely find it by searching through the TasteBook archives. TasteBook is also working with Epicurious (Gourmet, Bon Appetit) and Heidi of 101 Cookbooks, so you can add recipes from those sites to your customized TasteBook as well.
