What is a calorie? Do you know what a calorie is? It’s a unit of energy. It’s the energy that exists in food and that our bodies in turn utilize. Ultimately, a calorie is determined to be the amount of heat that is required to heat 1 kilogram of water 1 degree Celsius.

Fitness Journal - Lucky Day?

Was today a lucky day for you? I know it wasn’t what I would call a phenomenally lucky day for me. But then I’m not prone to looking at days as ‘lucky’ or not. We got up early and went to the park because for once, it wasn’t raining - go figure.
